It is both a great honour and
privilege for Brenda and I to be Captains of Laytown and
|
|
Bettystown Golf Club for 2013.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
We would like to extend a very warm
welcome to all of our new members, especially those
|
|
who have joined the Club during the
past year. It is our hope that all members and visitors
|
|
will enjoy many rounds of golf during
the year and that you will regularly visit our bar and
|
|
restaurant where good food, good
value and a friendly atmosphere are the order of the day.
|

|
We would like to take this
opportunity to sincerely thank the many members who make up
|
|
the committees and sub committees and
without whom, the Club could not properly function.
|

A big thank you to all of our staff,
both in the clubhouse and on the course. A special thanks
|
|
to Bobby Browne who has been our
professional for more than forty years and who having
|
|
had some health issues over the past
couple of years is now back to his very best.
|

|
We have a new look social committee
this year and we look forward to seeing as many
|
|
members as possible at the many
events that are already being planned for the coming year.
|
|

Sponsors play a very important role
in the success of our competitions and may we say here,

how much we appreciate your very

Finally please ensure that you take
the time to get to know the rules and etiquette of this

great game, show respect for the
course by replacing divots and repairing pitch marks and
|
|
always show the utmost consideration
to your opponents and fellow competitors and most
|
|
of all be sure that you enjoy your
golf in 2013.
